Advanced math classes will integrate different level of Math Olympiad, Math Count Content. The classes will teach students more challenged techniques, train them to solve difficult problems and strengthen the mathematical abilities. AMC and AIME course will challenge high school student Mathematical ability. Students are expected to achieve highly in math contests and MAP, ISAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP tests.
Advanced Math Courses:
Fundamental Math and Techniques (G.K-4) Geometry (Gr.7 & up)
Pre Algebra (Gr.5 & up) Perfection PSAT/SAT/ACT (Gr.8 & up)
Algebra (age Gr.6 & up) Calculus (Gr.9 & up)
AMC and AIME (Gr.9 -12)
Perfection SAT/PSAT (Gr. 8 & up)
The main objective of this class is providing SAT training for the students who will take SAT /PSAT tests for various reasons such as applying for a college, applying IMSA (Illinois Math and Science Academy) or high school replacement test, etc.
AMC and AIME (Gr.9-12)
AMC (American Mathematics Contest)
The main purpose of the AMC 10 or AMC 12 is to spur interest in mathematics and to develop talent through solving challenging problems in a timed multiple-choice format. What happens before and after the AMC 12 can have lasting educational value. Talents will be enhanced if one practices beforehand, by working through previous examinations, by participating in math leagues and, most importantly, by studying mathematics more intensely than one normally does in high school.
AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examination)
The AIME is intended to provide further challenge and recognition, beyond that provided by the AMC 10 or AMC 12, to the many high school students in North America who have exceptional mathematical ability. The top scoring U. S. citizens and students legally residing in the United States and Canada (with qualifying scores, based on a weighted average) are invited to take the USAMO (United States of America Mathematical Olympiad).
